It’s what we do to enjoy ourselves that keeps us young and mentally active. That’s why we encourage socialising and activities here at The Yachtsman Care Home.
We have a lot of activities going on for those who want to participate but we also protect the peace and quiet of those who do not. Our in home Activities Co-ordinator creates a tailored programme dedicated to each of our residents.
We interact with local groups, encourage visits from schools and community groups and maintain a healthy social calendar for those who seek it. Whether it’s one to one discussions or group activities, visiting the local pub or going singing at the marine hall, you will find it’s the variety and imagination of the programme that keeps the social life at The Yachtsman always offering something new.
