What We Offer...
The Yachtsman care home provides care for up to 32 adults, both male and female and we are specially trained to care for those living with dementia. Our home is based on the sea front of Fleetwood overlooking the beautiful Morecambe bay. There are two communal lounges, two dining rooms and a sunlounge that overlooks the sea front. Our bathroom and wet room facilities are accessible for all service users and X bedrooms at the home are ensuite.
We recognise that service users of different ages and abilities will have different interests and so the home is able to provide and support a variety of leisure interests such as gardening, reminiscence therapy, crafts, watercolour sessions, local ballroom dancing and social groups. Some activities are on the premises whilst others involve going out into the local community.
The Yachtsman prides itself on its ability to provide specialist care for persons with Dementia. Our staff receive regular training both in house and externally to ensure the standards of care we deliver remain high.

The Yachtsman is a great place to socialise or have a bit of quite time to yourself. Our facilities include a sun lounge reading library front and rear outside seating and BBQ areas and two lifts.
Fees
Our private fees are £800 per week for all rooms. We keep our fees in line with Lancashire County Council and remain one of the most competitively priced in the area!
